Carmen Peter Rinaldi, age 83, of Port St. Lucie, Florida, passed away on March 28, 2017. Carmen was born in Torrington, Connecticut to the late Carmen and Beatrice Young Rinaldi. He moved to Bridgeport, CT, where he remained for the majority of his life until moving to Port St. Lucie. He proudly served in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict. Prior to retirement, Carmen was an expert painter in the commercial painting industry. Carmen was a member of the Italian American Club, an avid golfer, loved to play cards, cook, and give a helping hand to anyone in need. May he rest in peace in the arms of all who were waiting for him at the gates of Heaven. We will always love you and miss you. Carmen is survived by the love of his life, Ann Marie Thibodeau; 3 wonderful sons, Carmen Rinaldi, Steve Rinaldi and wife Cheryl, Anthony Rinaldi and wife Kimberly; and devoted daughter Debrah Mastrolillo and husband Joseph; 7 grandchildren, and 2 great grandchildren. A celebration of Carmen’s life will begin at 2 pm on Sunday, April 9, 2017, with military honors to be rendered at 3 pm, at the Spanish Lakes Golf Village Clubhouse.
