Cynthia Vaughn Bragg, 58, passed away after a brief illness, October 28, 2016 at Florida Hospital/Orlando. Surviving are her husband, John Bragg, Casselberry, FL., her daughter, Allison Bragg, Orlando, FL., her four sisters, Sharon Vaughn, Orlando, FL., Vicki Vaughn, Comer, GA., Debbie Vaughn, Pace, FL., Terri Vaughn, Arnoldsville, GA., and brother Claude Vaughn Jr., Hanceville, AL.
Born in Orlando to Claude and Juanita Vaughn, Cindy attended Cheney Elementary, Union Park Middle, and Colonial High School, in Orange County. She graduated from Victor High School, Canandaigua, NY. After graduating from the University of Central Florida with a Bachelors of Education Degree she began teaching for Seminole County Schools. Cindy has taught at Sterling Park Elementary School for over 20 years. Cindy attended Downtown First Baptist Church.

She was a devoted wife and mother. She was happiest around her loved ones. Whether it was joining her friends for game night, a family gathering or a spontaneous trip to the beach, she knew how to keep everyone entertained. Cindy will. E remembered for her humor, quick wit, intellect and the ability to make anyone feel accepted; and we won’t forget how she could spin a story that would put a smile on everyone’s face.

A celebration of life/Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, November 5th, at 4:00p.m., at the chapel of Downtown Baptist Church/ Orlando, 120 East Pine St., Orlando, FL., 32801. (Downtownbaptistcburchorlando.com) Parking in the Church Street parking garage is free to those attending the service.

  1. Although we were cousins, I didn’t know Cindy very well. How sad that she is gone too soon. I know she was greatly loved and will be greatly missed. My condolences to you, her loved ones .
