Our Mom was amazing. Energy that was never ending; so much so I dubbed her the Energizer Bunny. She usually ran circles around me. Only one time I wore her out was at Disney World. First day we closed Epcot having only made it to France. On the way out, she told workers “I’m 65 and I just had the best day of my life!” She made me cry with happiness that I could make it happen for her.

Mom was an amazing Mother who came up with adventures I still treasure. She read all the Laura Ingalls Wilder books out loud. She called us out on a 1/2 day of school & took us to Great Adventure instead. Once in the early hours after dropping off Dad at the train station, she parked across from a field where men and an elephant put up a circus tent.

She was always active at the First United Methodist Church of Westfield, NJ with choir, church activities, Wesley Singers tours, prayer shawl and Stephen Ministry.

Judy, as most of you knew her, composted and recycled before it was trendy or required. She was a Boy Scout Leader, and a Band Booster/Supporter at Scotch Plains Fanwood High School (SPFHS) long before and after we attended.

If you needed help, she was there with advice, her car to drive you, an ear to listen, a hug, prayers and her Love. I am sure God has more work for her in heaven.

There are no plans for a service. Instead of flowers, Doug and I are requesting donations sent in her name to the First United Methodist Church of Westfield Organ Fund, 1 E Broad St, Westfield, NJ 07090.
