James “Jim” Wolfe, resident of Milton, Florida, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, July 17, 2019, at the age of 74.
Jim was born on March 6, 1945 in Mississippi. Jim was a well-loved coach and teacher in both Santa Rosa County and Okaloosa County Schools from which he retired. He saw his teaching and coaching career as a calling by God and it was evident to all who knew him that he loved the profession.
Jim was preceded in death by his devoted wife, Shannon, who passed away on June 26, 2015. Jim and Shannon are dearly missed by their two children, Robert (Trish) Wolfe of Macon, Georgia, and Laurie (Gene) Standridge of Four Oaks, North Carolina; seven grandchildren, Victoria Wolfe, Halie Wolfe, Branden Wolfe, Aurora Standridge, Damien Standridge, Julia Wolfe and Jackie Wolfe; as well as, four great grandchildren, Aiden, Catelyn, Alana and Nova.
Funeral Services will be held at 3:00 p.m., Sunday, August 18, 2019, at Lewis Funeral Home, Milton, Florida. Burial will be in Bagdad Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 2:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m., prior to the service.
